Hi Frank,..thanks Frank,..sitting in the garden was a great help,..relaxing and planning lol,..you may have read that the same week of my accident a boat overturned on the lake with three on board,..only one survived,..it took almost three weeks to find one body. Hi Sjoerd,..glad you enjoyed the shots,..thank you,..it could be those two Yucca Aloifolia,' Spanish Bayonet Tree',.. that give it that appearance. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
Ach mate--wrists usually heal oké, but the hernia, sort of doesn't sound so good. Being intra-articular Fx's though, you want them to heal quickly as they can and without incident. Just take it easy and be careful. I'm glad that you can still type out a few of messages on here.
Hi Jewell,..ah those paths were made slowly,..every time i was boating on the lake i would search for flat stones and take back two or three at a time,..the walled beds were made from stones given to me by a local farmer who was glad to be rid of them. Oh Black Spot,..i too have some of it but fighting it daily,..its an eye sore,..it hit two of my rose bushes,..drat!!. The walls and spaces filled with old socks and soil with rooted plants and Moss is coming along greatly. Hi Kiasmum,..yes mending rapidly,..still some dodgy moments,..both wrists in plaster was certainly awkward,..poor old Molly had many a knock on the head when getting a petting,..lol,..as for me,..even lifting a Stew Mug was a challenge . Hi Cheryl,..yessss boating is sooo relaxing,..lol,..you may well laugh about "your" Scotch Broom,..but i do constantly think its yours when i am thinking of pruning it,..thinking i better leave it alone or Cheryl will be unhappy . Oh i don't blame you falling for Aquilegia,..they amaze me at the size they grow the second year they come up,..i have some up to three feet high and they surprise me with how they cross breed,..where there was pink last year there are blue and purple this year,..very pleasing on the eye. Hi there Philip! I was just recently wondering where you were. Too bad you had a boating mishap! Hope you are mending well. Your gardens certainly look happy. I have enjoyed scrolling through all the lovely, colorful photos! The best was at the end, seeing Molly. Give her a snug and a pat on her cute head from me!
Hi Kay,..had to make a few adjustments to use the laptop,..padded wrist rest and a lower seat,..its comfortable,..it was impossible with plaster. Molly got your message,..however she has to go to the Vet,..Sty on her right eyelid,..she had one removed over a year ago. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
Hope Miss Molly is doing OK after her vet visit. I recently took Chloe to the vet to have her back nails clipped. She has her front paws declawed, but I had neglected to realize that her back nails were so long! They were catching in the carpet! She was a very good patient, and seemed quite glad to have them clipped. Kinda like a pedicure, except we did not paint them a pretty color. Hi Kay,..oh what a poser,..but a very pretty Chloe,..great picture capture and the contrasting colour of the tree really shows how good she looks,..they seem to sense you are doing it for the good and don't mind. Molly wasn't called in to the Vet as yet though it will be soon .
