Hello everyone, just wanted to thank you for all the prayers for my mom and the rest of our family. I haven't talked to Mama today as she is still sleeping, but when me,Joe and Eli went to visit her last night, she was a lot better. She was still a little uncertain about things but nowhere near as confused as the past few days. I will update everyone tonight after I go back up to see her.

This is good news, Heather. I sometimes get a little worried about your mum. It sounds like she is getting better now.
I find it very strange that she keeps getting these infections one after the other.

Something just doesn't seem to add up right.

Anyway...I am just happy that she is improving again. Any idea when they will let her come home?

That is encouraging news Heather. I hope that she is able to come home soon or will they proceed with the surgery? June 1st still seems far away...

Mama actually came home today and will be signing into her gardenstew account here in a few minutes..lol It wasn't a full blown kidney infection but just a bladder infection. We talked to the doctor about her drinking tons of water, and slowing down on drinking Dr.Peppers.She seems to be better and back to how she was doing before this new infection. I will be calling her urologist on Monday and asking if maybe we can speed up the surgery date.Thank you for all the prayers!

I'm sooo very glad that Glenda is back home again Heather. The sooner she gets the surgery to remove that kidney the better!! Hopefully then she'll be able to forget about all these infections and they'll be a thing of the past. Give her a hug from me and tell her we're really pleased she's feelig so much better.

Thank you so much, Heather. It is great to hear that your mum is back home now and the the acute infection was limited to her bladder.
With all that drinking that she is committed to doing now--do you think that she would consider making cranberry juice one of the things that she drinks daily?

I am very happy that she is back with you there now...and hopefully she can get her op date moved up a bit.

I shall be looking forward to seeing her back on here as soon as she feels like it.
