Bsewnsew, your small, lazy gnome could be our very own Frank, just visiting. Of course, many of us in the US have made gnome homes just for Frank's convenience, but he chooses to be weasely or perhaps stoatish (or is that boarish) and not sleep in them. Why Zuzu even hired contractors to build him a gnomehome.
pondy.....lady You cheeky lil bugger you........... Orleans bound are you>Permanent!! Now the photo of the orange bush there, is that an azalea???///// Yes we read all about Orleans. Now i wanna see the Knome pond...... Show me. bsewnsew
Show photos of those animals?...wish I could. Unfortunately they're just as elusive as the gnomes around here. Oh, and I finished the bottle off a few days ago (the next AA grant comes through on Friday :-D) , so getting my head around this stuff stone cold sobre is no fun. Kidding of course . I don't have any gnomes myself. But there's a garden up the road that seems to be breeding them wholesale. Pete.
Let's see. I lived in New Orleans from 1969 until 2003 when we moved to a bedroom suburb across Lake Pontchartrain. The suburb that Katrina hit the hardest. The house we lived in in New Orleans was about 1/2 block from one of the levee breaks. Our house across the lake was demolished and we had it bulldozed. That was the house you saw pictures of and yes that's an azalea. We are still in the same suburb, but in a house that we both dislike, but will stay here until we are capable of moving somewhere north and out of hurricane reach. Now I gotta remember where the pic of the gnome home is.
Careful what you say, Pete. Frank has seen your wee-house construction skills and he will be alerting the gnome network, they'll arrive in droves. Also, I think we must add badgers to the list of creatures that harbor animosity (or at the very least, envy) toward gnomes. As Jan said, I've undertaken the gnome-icile project , and I'm having a devil of a time getting the task completed. There have been a series of unfortunate and somewhat mysterious developments, and it all seems to come back to the badger that I hired as general contractor.
Back to those mysterious flat creatures called Badgers. How could something so incredibly cute be so maligned? Perhaps, ZZ, you mistook a wolverine for a badger. Wolverines are sneaky and not to be trusted.
I don't know much about gnomes but if they all have cute little houses like this one they are lucky little critters.
pete the knome hunter..... Come payday, and we bet you will have some really good KNOME articles to tickle our bones.( Scotch, it out) ha ha DO you wear a Kilt? If you wilt? Knomes dont. Not here any ways..... Also Do you have Knomewear? Are you going knomeware? Thanks for appearing today...... bs
pond lady I am very sorry to hear you were one of the Victims of Katrina.......Orleans and that dike was terrible . Glad your ok. Hope you can get back on your feet again...... Good Luck from me and all the knomes around the usa. Pete is covering the ones in UK. bsewnsew
BSewnetc, you are definitely one of us. You have sunk right down to the depths with the rest of us. Good on you. Yes, New Orleans was destroyed and so was our house because the dikes failed. But this dyke is alive and well and kickin' a$$
