S-H, See those little plants on the ground all around your Banana?

We have tons of those little plants around here too. I try to give them away but no one wants them.

But soon the Banana tree till become a lot taller than this - And so will automatically cut off the sunlight to those weeds. So why should I even move a single muscle and sweat - For something that will be taken care of on it's own!

Yup, many will call me lazy - But I think I'm being very smart here! And you know what they say about intellect. To use it wisely and in very tiny quantities, as intelligence doesn't grow on trees - Only Bananas do (hence the title of this thread)... :p

Well guess what, my little Banana tree isn't so little anymore! And what's more interesting is that while I was doing some weeding around it a few minutes ago - I saw that it's given a new puppy! :D

Is is fair to call a young banana tree a puppy? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
    :smt044

Must be doing something right to get another tree. Mine died back from the winter, but is putting on new growth now. At this rate, I don't think it'll ever produce any fruit.
