"Gonna Need An Ocean"

Well Cayu, I can understand that they would urgently need to pee and perhaps could not stop...but keep the container in the truck until you reach a truck stop and throw it in a bin then.
I wonder if these people demonstrate other types of antisocial behaviour as well.

 

OK, all jokes aside, it is my experience, that truckers often have a deep contempt for their fellow man... And it's not just true for truckers, but anyone who has been driving for long hours.

It's got a lot to do with road rage, but in this case, it's suppressed road rage. Because if they act out their rage, due to the highly annoying, irresponsible, and often very dangerous actions of what other motorists do in from of them each day, (which I too witness regularly) - Then there is a very good chance that they will get fired from their jobs. So they can't act out their rage in the open. Not in this modern world where everyone now has a smartphone with a camera.

So becoming contemptuous and cantankerous is their only way out. Their sole release. Which seems to have now become an inseparable part of their lives - Otherwise you'll literally go mad... So this truck bombing is just a tiny symptom, of a far bigger problem. Which seems to be only growing.

It's the same story worldwide We can argue about it with logic and rationality. But there is a big difference in when one is talking from an armchair from within the comfort of their own homes. And when one has actually experienced it for themselves first hand, (under conditions of stress, where the slightest of miscalculations can cost someone very dearly, at highway speeds)...

So this is why they no longer care about decency or morality. They just have a job to do, which is hauling stuff from point A to point B. And they need to make it there on time. So (in their own minds) they just say - To hell with it all. I'm driving to where I need to be. Little else matters. And should anyone challenge them about their bad behavior, well, they still are driving a bigger vehicle. So who do you think will win in a collision? Thus they continue with their contemptuous behavior.
