Wonderful tools you have Bsewnsew, I really like that ride on lawn mower. I could use a hired hand myself to help me with the nutgrass ...hehe!!! :D

Sojerd I am sorry I do know Melaka Town Holiday Lodge 2 but I know where it is located after googling it. Glad you were not disappointed staying there. That place is walking distance to most places of interest and convience but a little dark after sunset because of poor lighting. What you detected is very right and is not getting any better.

Am I right to say that you were here in the late seventies? There are lots of changes in Malacca since then and Malacca was nickname "The Sleepy Hollow". Today there are traffic jams during rush hour and weekend the jams are usually worst due to tourist from outstation and Singapore. The swallows were actually from China and they were taking shelter from the cold winter. Around mid-spring all of them would have returned to China. If were not careful then and park our care there ....... you can imagine what will happened. Those swallows cannot be seen anymore and I do not really know why .... maybe there is no more electricity or telephone lines above the street. :D

Riding helps lots when I have 2 acres to mow about 2 times a week. Zero turn I think they are called.
I use levers instead of a steering wheel you notice.
    Makes life easier.

Most folks around here ride lil tractor mowers.

Excellent posting, B--it is interesting to see the variety of tools that you use there.
Say, how do you call that tool all the way over to the right?

KK--No, I was there far more recently. I remember that the way back to the guest house at night was indeed quite dark. I did indeed have to be careful when walking under those swallows. It could get messy. ;)
