    Hi. Lovely flowers and the foliage very good also. Grew a few myself singles and doubles - favourite double was a large flowered pink one with maroon splashes - had a very Rose like perfume ( was it Sarah Bernhardt?). Only problem I found with them was that the flowers being so large when it rained they rapidly filled with water and flopped down. Tried staking each individual flower stem for a while but gave it up as too time consuming - found also the rain browned the flowers petals off. Even so that was only me and they are for sure beautiful plants. Syd.

    Oh, how I miss peonies! When we lived in upstate New York, we had peonies of several colors, and even a tre peony. Here in Texas the heat just doesn't allow peony growing.
    Desiree, thank you for the lovely photos that reminded me of plants I loved.
