Growing Sweet potatoes for the first time

    Don, your slips sure look nice. I've had mine look that good one time. So, I tried it again with a couple of sweet potatoes from the grocery store. The next two years they started rotting (and smelling bad) in the jelly glasses I put them in. I gave up.

    I'm sure jealous. Yours really are beautiful.

    Once you get a combination that works in your climate, sweet potatoes are easy to grow. Nothing bothers them much. They are absolutely delicious.
