Sjoerd- I'm never ready for winter!! What are we going to do? The photos are wonderful. Isn't it great to be able to look at them any time to remind yourself how pretty the blooms are? I look out every morning at my few remaining containers to see how they faired overnight...It breaks my heart to let them go to the compost. I did take some cuttings from some particularly pretty Coleus. We haven't had a frost yet, but I'm afraid it won't be long. :'(
KK-- thanks so much for your nice comments. Malaysia would be a nice venue for the winter time. Just pronouncing the word conjures up memories of sun, warmth and ....food. KAY--Good youi got those Coleus cuttings. It is indeed a shame that all the lovely flowers and plants have to wilt and find their way to the compost bin...but they'll be back next year and you'll get some good compost to boot. The pics help me when I miss them during the depth of winter.
