Thank you everyone, my wife and I went out to dinner at my favorite restaurant. A candle in my favorite desert(has to be ordered before the meal) supplied the atmosphere as the staff sang happy birthday. We had a most enjoyable meal, it was a great day.

What??? No hats, confetti, tickle blowers, dancing on the table?
What was the dessert that it had to be ordered before the meal?

The desert is a baked apple that takes about 25 minutes to cook. As I have been ordering it for years I know, and they do suggest on the menu, to order it first so it arrives on time. The candle was in the ice cream. The restaurant staff had a horn which they sounded to announce their arrival.
