    April, Good for you. The only suggestion I have for rent to own...GET a contract drawn up and keep excellent record. I know a lawyer who was doing a land contract and didn't have one. :eek: and the other party went bankrupt and he lost.

    we are not even to a point yet where we are talking anything legal. Hubby and I have been to look at the land and I have started asking the "deal-breaker" questions.(can i keep my cats, can I have a BIG garden, can I have the chickens and goats?)
    So far the couple has said no problem to any of those questions. I am now awaiting a response to whether they would want to continue the practice of mowing the 4 acre hay field twice a year for their cows, or if WE could do whatever we want with it. That would be where we would need to put the garden beds and the animals as the rest of the property is wooded.

    She OWNS the trailer park? Boy, a trailer park with no FLOWERS sounds very bland. I'd get out of there April, and fast!
    Find another place that allows the things you want and follow your dreams :)
