Not much - the growing season here is too short. But this year is nice, we havn't seen snow yet, have you? Your photos are fabulous. Very sharp and clear close-ups. What lens do you use for your macro photos?
Hi Nan, cold here but no sign of snow although we have lots of rain today. I'm actually on the SW side of the city. Most of the photos on flickr and my Google albums were taken with a Kodak EasyShare ('05) and Sony CyberShot('06-'07) although I got an EOS Digital Rebel at the end of the summer.
Sherry8, LOL. I don't follow football (sacrilege, I know) but my foster brother was just given a Packers sweater for winter and he's been getting a lot of flack over it at school. It's almost unsafe to walk him to and from school when he's wearing it.
MrBrownThumb...your in Bear country. I would take the sweatshirt and give it away...not safe for your brother...the Packers are doing great this season. I hope he enjoys it and everyone accepts him with it on...even if it is BEAR country...lol

I am glad your Brother quit wearing the sweater. In some areas of the country you have to be careful. My husband will not wear his Packer jacket in some areas when he travels. No need to set anyone off if they don't like something..or to draw unnecessary attention to yourself. It is a shame but things do happen...and if it bothers people that you have something on, I would not wear it. People can be so cruel for no good reason.. I guess the cold weather is here for a while. We just shoveled about 7-8 inches of snow last weekend.
hi nan, yeah I'm looking for a macro too but probably won't have the spare money to buy one 'til next year. Or at least a really good one. The kit lens I'm using is starting to irritate me. Sherry, I didn't shovel much or at least it didn't seem like a lot but yeah, winter is here. ;0) I should sow some of my popyy seeds so the snow holds them in place.
