Welcome, Tam Tam from a very, very hot Kuwait. I had problems with Japanese beetles when I lived in New Jersey, thankfully they didn't follow me to South Carolina. Traps were the only thing that worked for me (well, besides bribing the kids to help pick them off the plants..not always a success).
