Love your greenhouse. Am going to attempt to build something this summer. Your garden looks really bountiful.

Well I found an old friend and his partner who work for a tree service and needed some work badly.

They showed up with 2 good saws, ropes and climbing gear. Had the tree all down on the ground in 3 hours. The limb in the picture was over my wife's garden so care was taken.

I paid them $300, it was hazardous, no harm was done, they were fast and neat. Im happy and If I paid them well they will be happy to work for me again. I have a new garage to build soon and could use some help with the trusses.

Mike, Good call paying a professional to do tree work. It is wise to leave these potentially dangerous jobs to the trained folks.

I made a new turkey coop and pen so I get my garden space back, finally. They are digging up at the last of my compost pile and Ill get that moved when they get done eating the bugs.

Now, this is a man after my own heart.

Does he sound like me girls??? Little chickens and a turkey or duck thrown in, a back garden and an up garden.

This is going to be cool to watch his posts unfolding this Summer.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

We are just gearing up here as it still got down to the 40F at night. packing the greenhouse with new starts all the time.

I have old trellises that need taken down, rebuilt in new spots for crop rotation. We do a lot of vertical gardening to get the most of our space.

After reading some we are going to use lots of hay/staw and use a no till approach. In fact I like to use old carpet and rugs in my pathways. pallets are big around here, we recycle and reuse as many materials as we can.

Our gardens last year were so nice our neighbor is giving us a good 600 square feet of theirs to use so we will have close to 2,700 square feet just for plants.

Been working so hard to finish jobs I talked about doing but am now just getting to it. Im over the hump, it starting to look like I can slow down and enjoy the fruits of my labor and relax in the sun with some iced tea and watch the plants grow. :)

I will be posting more pictures, my woman and I have identical cameras and shoot lots of pictures.
