here is my next back yard project

    the idea is great and with good design lines :) just think about some heavy legs in the bottom to keep it strong in windy weather.

    Yes that is a great idea. You also might want to put a piece of pvc pipe along the top front of the tarp and attach the tarp to it so it doesn't get to flapping in the wind and tear loose. It will be interesting to see what others do with this neat design.
    This year I am going to use a similar design with Pvc to cover our raspberries and blueberries to keep the birds out of them. I like the fact that you can dismantle it at when no longer needed.

    That's a really good idea. I wonder how it would work out using a decorative cameo netting to let the breeze through while still making a shady spot? Maybe something like this. It's a little expensive. But I'm sure shopping around would help. This stuff is almost a hundred bucks for 20 sq.ft

    Edit: found a site that has it a bit cheaper if you're interested.

    Wow, this is very interesting.
    I love the low cost and self-made interior design capability.
    That is applicable to any environment.
    From the photo, it is clear you will have a beautiful garden.
