Hi Phillip, Welcome to Gardenstew from Chelmsford Massachusetts USA where the cold fall air has shut down the outside garden activity but the inside plants are having a party. Jerry
Hello! Welcome to Garden Stew! I have only been on here for a couple of weeks myself, I find it rather addictive. There is so much to read and everyone is so nice. See ya around!
Hello Phillip from Nebraska USA. I had the opportunity to visit your beautiful country in 1981. I loved it over there. Welcome to Garden Stew, you will like it. Loads of fun, good advice, and the friendliest people!
Hello! I'm from Texas now though I've lived many other places. It's cold here today though it's been fairly warm until yesterday. I've been here on the Stew since 2005 and I can't miss a day of it without missing it. I used to have chickens and ducks and goats and geese. We just have a dog now. dooley
Welcome to the Stew from the unseasonally icy cold Norwegian north-west coast. Brrr! I'd love to see some photos from your area. I trust it's still green?
Hello there A warm welcome to you from Cape Town. Pull up a chair and enjoy the Stew. The GardenStew is a lovely place to spend time.

I do intend sticking around,..so i hope to get to know you all,..i have being browsing among the threads and lovely gardens,...which nearly makes me forget to post some shots of mine,..But apart from doing so in "My Garden",..i am looking for an appropriate thread as i really cover from "The Garden and Beyond",..ie,Garden,Pets,On The Water,Travel,..so i am thinking, thinking!
Greetings for East Tennessee. I just finished viewing some of the photos you posted on your lovely country. Ireland is on my wish list of places to visit.
Hello and welcome from Greenbrier, Tennessee. My ancestors were from Ireland. They came over to America on the Mayflower. Not sure why they wanted to leave such a beautiful place. GDC/ Doyle McClung
My Ancestors hailed from Scotland,..i keep wanting to head off there,..i did visit several times,..but the pull is still there,..like you i often wonder why my clan left there?.
Ah yes,..the avatar is a picture of my garden,..reduced in size,...here is one from the same spot for you. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
Almost certain its a "Spanish Bayonet",.."Yucca Aloifolia",..i have two,..one growing in a container,..they were shoots at the base of a tree which was over 8 foot high.
