Hi Rhonda -- we are neighbors, sort of -- I live in Pasadena too. Your blog about the edibles was interesting. (I have a special soft spot for my fig trees too.) I was just thinking yesterday about learning more about edible flowers and bought a packet of nasturtium seeds, nasturtium being the only edible flower I could think of... And thinking of kids planting rocks made me smile.
