houseplant, black leaves and light purple flowers

    When I had some in the ground, I never watered it or fed it or anything and it still flourished.
    The one I have now is on the bottom of a shelf and the only water it usually gets is what drips from the top plants.
    So maybe it just needs to be left alone and abused some? :headscratch:

    I was starting to think that, thanks for the reinforcement! I'll try to stop thinking it's thirsty. I'm sure you've had drought at least as bad as we get it here, probably worse, so sounds like sage advice. Thanks, Cheryl!

    TY, Toni. I'm not very good at that, but I'm working on it. I've never taken a mid-summer vacation longer than a couple days before, but we are this year, probably 9 days. It should be an enlightening experience, regarding the unattended garden and the virtues of neglect.
