I all ways worry too much rain. After floods in Iowa in 08.Dh said he would take John boat out fishing. But would get tired pulling it down the Iowa River. To next deep hole. But newly planted flower perked right up. Can water them-but nothing like God Doing it for me.

We hadn't had any rain in 3 weeks and things were really getting dry. Thurs. night and friday morning we got some much needed rain. Nice light showers and a total of 1 1/4 inches. The rain was so slow it all soaked in with no run off. The farmers corn and soybeans practically jumped out of the ground. An old saying is if the corn is knee high by the 4th of July, you have a good crop. This year some of the corn will be knee high by the 4th of June!

I wore jacket to Farmers Market in Cedar Rapids. Huge crowd. And to think that area where we was 20 feet over flood stage-4 years ago Now I'm planting flowers I got.One minute it rained just enough to speck up glasses. Next Bright Sun.
