How to make cuttings from what was once a houseplant, now a tree!?!

barb, I can not.. cannot get this one to make roots. I have tried over and over and over. never seen one so hard to make a new plant of it. but its smell! oh its worth the frustration. I have never smelled one quite like this.

 

@carolyn I can't believe you can not start citronella plant.. you can start the roots in water...you know strip the leaves off the lower stem and stick it in a glass of water...happens in a few weeks but you have to change the h2o every 2 days..
