Well the first tablet Molly took stopped the leaking,..so i kept up the treatment for a few days sadly the leaking started again,..so its two tablets per day now,..one early morning and the other in the evening,..that's helping but not fully stopping,..so rugs are removed and the mop is at the ready,..dangrabbit.

No real sign of Autumn as yet,..trees are still green and only the odd leaf falling,..tree attached lol.

Sorry to hear that the tablets are doing the best job for Molly. She still seems to be her usual happy-go-lucky self though and that smile is still in place.
The trees here are just beginning to shed a few leaves. It doesn't feel like October except that the days are getting shorter.

Eileen,..we had a dry day today,..maybe taking the two tablets is kicking in,..or something to do with not having a swim,..that thought entered my mind tonight.

Yes days are noticeably shorter,..i will have to keep my ears open about the clock changing,..most years it escapes me and i only discover that time has gone back or forward by way of a TV program,..its still mild here and Winter arrives in 20 days,..looks like we will have a VERY short Autumn.

What is it about empty plastic bottles? They always seem to be a favourite with dogs don't they? Molly looks very chuffed with her one. :)

Lol,..they seem to think its a bonus finding those plastic bottles,..they squeeze one a few times so you hear they have found booty,..if Molly finds one she will carry it to the river hoping i will play,..i throw she fetches,..then she takes it back to the car or house,..i never let her see me dumping them :whistling:.

I was late taking Molly for her evening walk,..the sun was setting around 0530 but it remained bright for a good spell afterwards.

The long road to the river.

You can just about see Molly in the tall grass.
    IMG_5651.jpg

If one looks in line beyond the fence pole there is a Blue Heron,..to its right in the water are Mallard and way back on the right a Swan with only its butt showing as it feeds with head underwater.

    Very cute fringe.

Sadly the sun was shining on the far side of the Hay Rolls,..causing a shadow,..this is the last cut of the year and for Silage,..a green cutting and for winter feeding of Cattle.

The yellow flowers are 'Rape Seed Flowers',..the plant is used for making Cooking Oil plus some other stuff that escapes me just now,..at times farm fields can be seen in a mass of yellow from these.

A shot of the sky at 0420 this evening,..not an eclipse,..nor any adjustment to the picture,..i just liked the rays.

Molly has met up with a new friend,..his name is 'Buddy',..cute little chap and can run as quick as a Rabbit,..he plays follow the leader with Molly,..the owner rescued him from a local farmer who was set on shooting him.

Dogs can be clever,..however when trying to discretely watch a person eating they seem to forget they have more of themselves above the eyes.

There is always something amiss with pets,..in Feb Molly had to have an operation,..a lump as big as a Grapefruit grew on her side,..luckily not a solid lump but full of liquid,..the Vet claimed it was due to a damaged nerve?,..who am i to argue,..so the lump was drained and all is well at the moment,..the stitches are well out by now,..there were not very neat,..and Molly still had a bald spot to date.

Soooo the latest,..talking a long walk along the road to the river,..its really only for walking,.. or people fishing in the river or the canal which runs along the road right up to the river,..there was a stone about the size of a golf ball on the road,..i kicked it into the drain,..Molly went like a bull after it,..down the steep bank into two foot of stagnant water,..then realised she couldn't climb back up as the banks were very steep and straight,..nor could she go right or left due to branches,..with me making shapes and faces at her (no point shouting as she is deaf) she eventually climbed out to my dismay but on the opposite side to where i was,..then had to run along the field beside the drain for about 800 yards before she could get back to me,..problem solved,..until next morning,..a sick dog,..would not eat or drink for 24 hours,..she must have swallowed some of the stagnant water.

    Back to normal but groggy.
