Eileen its always a worry,..one never knows if its just something someone dropped while walking along eating a snack,..or something doctored by someone who dislikes dogs.

The pets can pounce on something edible like a flash,..nothing one can do.

No problems last night or today,..she is running like a whippet.

The sun started to hide today at 3.30 as i was on my doggy walk,..for the first time in about two weeks i met someone and he was taking pictures of the sunset,..he had a huge camera while i just had my phone camera lol.

These shots look similar but they were taken quite a distance apart as i walked.

The smoke to be seen on the left of center is the power station.

Eileen,..nice to see you would hang that picture on one of your walls,..ideal for a bathroom lol,..with all the water :whistling:.
First thing Foxy Molly does on returning from a walk is head into the kitchen to wait for her meaty strip snack,..then takes a nap,..she never relaxes when out,..she may pause just before running in circles around me or sprinting away then coming back as fast,..its good she wears herself out,..keeps her from putting up too much weight.

That long road along the canal i used to doggy walk is completely flooded,..the canal is not to be seen nor the meadows on either side,..if you look at the first image below you will see the bridge where i used to finish my walk and of course no sign of land except those trees where the road is under water.

Images are not great as i had to use full zoom.

I think you and Foxy Molly need to get yourselves wet suits and snorkels!! We've had hard frosts but not a lot of rain so aren't experiencing any flooding. It's hard to believe that's the same bridge I've seen in your photographs before the water enveloped everything.

Eileen this happens every year,..you would think we would get used to it but the level of flooding varies so that's the talking point,..lol wet suits and snorkels would be well suited.

Well we are catching up on you weather wise frosts at night,..then a big change this morning while i slept,..snow.
    2017-12-08_13.15.04.jpg

Today we got 'Amber Weather Warnings',..there will be heavy snowfall with ice conditions for the weekend,..in the north they have heavy snow all day all coming from Iceland.

So Foxy Molly had a new experience,..the snow and the snowman,..being curious she ran up to greet the snowman then became puzzled,..finally ran away from it lol.

Well the snow doesn't seem to phase Foxy Molly too much. She seems to be enjoying herself despite the cold and all that white stuff.:)

Eileen she is very excited with the snow,..imagine never having seen snow before,..i must admit i felt the cold on the third day as there was ice everywhere and very few people were out,..soft snow is fine to walk in but when it freezes oh boy.

Frank,..it was very funny when it hit me that she didn't know what it was,..maybe she thought there was a human inside it,..she went all around it sniffing cautiously then ran away from it.

I met some adults with children outside the park and the children were as excited with snow at last.

No snow here either now. It would be nice to have some on Christmas day but I can't see it happening as the temperatures have risen to around four degrees. We're still having light frosts at night and there's no misty mornings for us.
