The snow is beginning to melt here so maybe spring has decided to come visit at last. I hope the lime doesn't do any damage to Foxy Molly's paws as it's so alkaline. We put a product called 'Mushers secret' on our dog's paws which stops them being affected by all the salt that's been put down to melt the ice. It's a paw wax that seals his feet nicely and stops them from drying out with the salt.
Eileen that's good news about the thaw,..fingers crossed for you there. That's interesting information about 'Mushers Secret',..i wrote it down as Foxy Molly is running on lots of lime just now,..i will check to see does the Vet have this or similar,..thanks for that. Foxy Molly didn't have a walk in the wild today,..around a few blocks yes,..we were sorting out flower pots and containers,..i say we as Molly was sniffing into every one.
Eileen she is a very happy dog,..it took time for her to adjust after her bad spell of injuries. Hark at the colour of the black tarmacadam,..almost white with water lime.
She's found not only her forever home but gives back as much love as she receives. She always seems to have a smile on her face which, considering her life before, is amazing and it's all down to you. I didn't realise, until I read your post, that it was tarmac she is standing on. That's an awful lot of water lime. Let's hope you get enough rain soon to wash it away.
