AAnightowl-I do not think they are very close to me. I did find an add for someone who does gardening chores so I might call them. I am going to send the bill to the restaurant for compensation. Thank you for the great offer.

Donna thank you. Prayers are very welcome.

Sherry8 I am a fast mender. But these three weeks without being able to put any pressure on that leg is so hard. Especially when one see's so much that needs to be done. First therapy this Friday. I am looking for a positive report from them. :stew1:

Don't forget the hired help in your bill to the restaurant. If you were not injured, you could have done that work yourself.

Yes that is so true. I would also love to hire someone to come out and plant our garden since I am not able to do that either.
Then there is the house work. It's been 4 weeks and the dust is getting deeper. When I mentioned it to my hubby about hiring someone to come out and do the above. He said that one might need a lawyer for those types of reimbursements. I do not want to go there. I will contact the restaurant first and see what they are willing to pay for. ;)

Ouch, that makes two of us that missed it. Sorry to hear of your accident. While I have never broken anything my wife makes up for it. I hope your convalescence is short and the restaurant covers everything. I was beginning to wonder why no posts from Patti. Now I know why. Get better soon.

Thank you Stratsmom, Jerry, Cayuga for the well wishes. I am doing a lot better and have my first therapy session tomorrow. I also had never broken anything up until now. :-x I am planning on healing fast and getting back on my feet soon.
The sitting around is soooooo boring. I have tried to keep busy with reading, movie watching, bible study, ect. But I want to be out in my flower beds killing all those bad weeds I see taking over. :-x
I really feel for anyone who has ever had to deal with a broken anything. I know that this to shall pass. Now where is that bottle of wine. ;)

I'm glad things are imrproving a little for you. I know how frustrating it is to have to sit still but you must take care of yourself. We want you fit and well again so that you'll be planting veggies in the garden before you know it. We would alllove to be round your house if we could. You'd get so many veggies planted that the whole neighbourhood wouldn't go hungry for the next year.
I hope your insurance company can get some money for you. Just lie back and think of all the plants you could buy with it.
Look after yourself or us.

Eileen yes that would be great to have a small garden army show up from the Stew. I would have to make my garden a lot bigger with that amount of veggies.
Thank you for your well wishes.
I am still waiting to here from the restaurants insurance company. We better here something from them soon.
Have had some good therapy sessions and a doc examine. He said that he would think I would be walking without this horrible brace by the end of 3wks. My knee cap had healed great. Now I just need to not push it so I do not set back my progress. But it is soooooo hard not to. But I will try really hard. ;)
