I have great control when my husband is with me...it's when I'm by myself. Today I planted some flowers in bigger pots because I can't figure out were to put them in the yard. I'm becoming a container gardener by accident
( photo / image / picture from Kay's Garden ) I couldn't help myself. These two pots became empty when I planted the little Spireas that were in them. I put Electric Lime Coleus, one with a Elanos pink w/silver leaf Geranium, one with a pink annual that I should know the name of but it escapes me now, and both pots filled in with "Sundial Gold" Moss Rose, and "Pacifica Punch" pink Vinca. Looking forward to them growing and filling in.
And then there was this pot found at a ridiculously low price... I put in a little Palace Purple Heuchera, with Diamond Frost Euphorbia and "Amazon Sunset" Parrot's Beak (which I've never grown, the foliage attracted me) I seriously need to STOP planting containers! When this rain comes to a halt, I'll be a busy girl with the watering cans! new container ( photo / image / picture from Kay's Garden )
I haven't been able to find that Diamond Frost Euphorbia around here and I've never even heard of Parrot's Beak! I've been trying to control myself and not even go INTO a garden center until I get everything here planted. Now that my back is feeling a little better I think I can begin
The Amazon Sunset Parrot's Beak is new to me. The tag shows orange flowers, but it isn't blooming and I don't really want the blooms. I think the foliage is pretty. It's real airy and I like the color. I hope it behaves itself for me. Otherwise it will be one of those "lessons learned"
