Islandlife,..its fantastic to find something new to the taste buds,..i well remember my first taste of Lemon Cheescake,..oh boy did it activate my taste buds Eileen,..that's the best thing about those Doughnut Peaches,..you can take a good bite,..plus they are dribble proof Netty,..nice to find you are adventurous food wise,..there is always a new taste to discover Barb,..oh i would love to have an "exotic meat market" near me,..i know exotic meats can be expensive but those days when nothing one has in the cooler or freezer appeals,..it would be wonderful to have something exotic to satisfy the taste buds,..fresh fish arrives here in town from both the east and west coast then the Supermarkets competing with each other come up with some amazing foreign dishes Marlingardener,..i can only recall one item of food i disliked and that was Spiced Beef,..that was when i was about 8 years of age,..maybe if i came across it these days i would change my mind,..i eat everything and big helpings as well,..nobody can understand where it goes as i seldom put up the pounds,..in fact i am the same weight now as when i was 25 years old,..11 Stone 7 pounds,..i walk a lot lol. Toni,..your Daughter has surely changed her taste of food with Squid and Octopus,..oh yes those i like,..i never had Elk nor Rattlesnake,..Eels a plenty of course,..being the nearest if only in shape One thing i was disappointed with of late was Dates stuffed with Wallnuts,..dryish,..i presume because they had to be split open to insert the Wallnuts plus the Wallnuts being dry didn't help the Dates remain moist. Something i long for every week,..Sea Food Platter,..yummy.
Philip try dates stuffed with marzipan. I think you'll like them better than the ones stuffed with walnuts.
Marzipan,..now that would be tasty,..i like the scent of Marzipan as well,..i must keep an eye out for that combination,..thanks Eileen
Barb I get a 'dicky' stomach as I find the meat too strong for me. I'm more used to eating chicken and fish rather than red meat.
