I'm glad it all worked out ok for Ian. I was thinking about him (and you). I read your post but couldn't reply from where I was today. What an ordeal. Hope he is recovered now and warm and you have relaxed.

Glad Ian is back safe Eileen, it is kind of a cold here today as it had rained almost the whole day and last night too!!! I can imagine the kind of cold Ian had to go through with all those snow!! Feed him lots of chicken soup. :)

Our friends in Dundee have snow there too, and we've had temps in the 80's here in Wisconsin which is unheard of at this time of year. We had the only March in history with no snow, and unfortunately we've had no rain either so things are extremely dry. Hope spring comes your way soon!

Glad he got home safe and sound and didn't have to camp in the van for the night. BBBRRR. I hope you have both had a lovely relaxing day so you can both get over the upset. xx

So much for relaxing today. :( Last night we heard a loud cracking sound coming from the kitchen area. Couldn't find out what the heck it was until this morning when we were washing up the breakfast dishes.
Our kitchen sink has cracked all the way across and was leaking soapy water everywhere. Haven't a clue how it happened as we weren't even near it when it split.
We went to a big DIY store in Stirling and picked up another one at a fairly reasonable price - so guess what we're doing tomorrow.
It would be nice to have some good luck here just for a change.

**Blows some dill weed towards Eileen**

    Little skandinavian folklore:

Dill was concidered an ABUNDANT herb and was everywhere. It also was a good luck herb and thought to bring money and luck. When it was picked a little was placed outside the door so the wind would SHARE THE WEALTH.

    Hope it helps!

Snow can be so dangerous...glad everything worked out for him. My husband said they were stuck in a snowdrift when he was young in a white car and almost got hit by a snowplow...I think that is why I don't like white cars in Wisconsin...I hope he is all rested up and relaxed from all the excitement.
