The search feature on here helps so much b/c I am looking for info on trellises too. Cucumbers- I've always grown them on the ground but really want them growing up this year. We have 3 cheap quality ($1.50 at Lowes) aluminum fence posts that I put in the garden and was going to attach an extra piece of fence to but I just got some fan trellises on Freecycle. The fan trellises are big (5' across at top) and thought about using them. You people who have trellised cukes before will fan trellises be strong enough or should I keep with the original plan of using fence?
