I wish I knew how people fit so much into a raised bed.

    You may have more greens than you think. Also, you only need about 1/3 as much greens as you do browns.

    As for the rodents etc, I was having that problem with my plastic compost bin. The raccoons would slide the little door off at the bottom and get in. I took some old patio stones I have and put them over the door and around the base. Been good so far this winter.

    I've never had trouble with rodants with my compost bins, usually if someone put cooked meats and cooked veg in that would attract them.

    Thank you for the info, @harrylee .
    For greens I have coffee grounds and egg shells, but nothing else.
    Our mower is a mulching mower, so there are no grass clippings.
    When I was attempting to collect the "greens" I used to rinse my eggshells.
    Is that necessary?
