The storm came through here about 5 aam. Thunder, lightning and wind. It was rain coming down but froze on the ground. It's still a bit icy but it didn't get much above 20 F. here today. The wind blew away most of the ice. Our yard looks bad with everything blew everywhere. It isn't supposed to warm up much through Friday and then it will be a mix of more rain and some snow. Hopefully not the snow part. dooley

Freezing down here in SE Texas too. We should warm up to 36 today... but hard freezes the next couple of nights. But the wind is what is making it so miserable. Plus... they're predicting up to 4 inches of snow by Friday. Yes... ONLY 4 inches... but that's a lot down this way.

It's 16F right now, wind chill is still -2F We might get up to 20 degrees this afternoon. All the ice is still on the ground like yesterday but some roads are clearer but traffic is still really slow and light. Schools are closed again today. Our street is a sheet of ice since neighborhood streets aren't on the sanding schedule.

So far our Friday forecast is for light snow and only a 30% chance of that even happening. Guess the next system will go south of us again.

There's a water puddle right before my office driveway. Here's what happens when the cars splash water onto the grass.

That garden of yours (back and front) looks pretty nice--and the snow really decorates it.
I saw your nice Welcome Sign...I guess that the weather saw that and took it literally.
