I don't recall blue pollen. Maybe there wasn't any when I was looking? I do recall different shades of yellow and brown in the comb. Also, my memory isn't always reliable. For the bees, I planted four linden trees (small leaf) lots of clover everywhere, phacelias groundcover in raised beds, several large wildflower areas, lots of alliums, sourwood tree buddleia (only legal ones ), lots of ceonothis. Bees were around me all the time. I miss them. I also pulled out my oleander bushes. The lindens are blooming now. There are lots of bees in them. Someone is getting nice honey
Daniel you planted a lot of quality garden plants perfect for bees. There were loads of bees everywhere in my garden . My huge linden tree was always buzzing so loud from bees you could hear them a mile away… Since neighboring farms have started spraying by air the drift has seriously affected the bee population and also had to cut down the Queen Ann Linden tree. I miss the bees too. It’s way to quiet out in the garden without the greetings from the bees.
