We're back and we had so much fun! San Antonio is a great place to visit, especially the restaurant supply places. We wined and dined, visited the missions, and did all the "touristy" stuff. The Botanical Gardens were great--plantings well labeled, and I got lots of ideas for plantings and containers. However, they were having a plant sale and I couldn't buy any plants to bring home :'(! The poor greenery would never have survived three days of hotel air conditioning, or three days in the car. Ah, well . . . . We'll download and sort photos soon so I can post some.
