Meet my unofficial service kitty, Sinatra....spoiled rotten...on my lap always! He was wild/a bit feral when we got him in January.

Hey Y'all….yes, I've been missing for a few months...extremely busy at work/life. I do have photos here and there now that the season is finally changing. I do have a winter garden and ate mustard greens for Thanksgiving...so good and nice. I gave away my first harvest of arugula and she loved it. It was a success with the cilantro this year from seed. First time ever. I was on my way to the gym that morning 5:45 a.m and saw it when the motion light came on....had to take that pic. Now the frost is here 2 nights in a row...was totally unexpected and the ears are done after that. @Sjoerd...yes that butterfly bush...a dwarf they say. That rose bush is all over the corner of my porch...a monster. @carolyn...agreed. I told someone there are so many worms this year because we didn't get killing frosts/extreme cold weather last year. We've already had 2 and i'm excited...hehe. @Cayuga Morning ...thank you. Sinatra is a ham and sleeps on my lap in any position. He keeps us laughing and I look forward to his 'Welcome Home Mommy'. One day I am going to have my husband record our ritual when I go towards the living room blinds and his tower. I don't care where he is, if he hears me at or going towards that window, he runs out of nowhere and leaps on the top tower for his 'tummy rubs'. The loud purring/snoring and rolling that he does, just makes you smile and can hear from the dining room..LOLLLLLL. If you're not rubbing enough because you're not talking to him, he will gently paw you while hanging a bit off the tower, to remind you....the craziest thing between the two of us. He is definitely my service cat, to keep things at bay because there is so much on my plate.
I became friends with a nice lady, who does seed swaps on IG and for the second time, I received a huge bag of seeds and cuttings from here, without warning. One is horseradish, that I said I need to plant that for myself, because it is hard to find here..next thing I know, horseradish root is in the bag. I told her she must think I live on 20 acres...she even sent me a cutting of burdock..yeah that!!! haha Needless to say, I am well stocked with seeds for the next 2 or 3 years or more if stored properly. Well, i'm going to end here...back to work. I will post pics later and try my best not to stay away so long...hehe. Just in case, Everyone have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! Stay Safe!

Good to hear from you Hummerbum! Sounds like you have had a successful garden this year and are already set up with seeds for next year.

You cat sounds as adorable as he looks.

Thrilled to see you back on here. Congrats on having a good gardening year. What are you going to do with all those seeds though! Haha...no, you will be glad you have those next year.

Well I thought you'd given up on us so it's really great to see you back 'home' again and hearing all your news and seeing your pics.
Sinatra is a real handsome lad. If I were ever to get a cat it would be a Siamese or Burmese as they are such social felines.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year too but I hope you'll pop in again before either comes around. We do miss you when you're not on the forums.
