I can't stay on long enough to answer questions, before IE crashes.

But, yes to Franks suggestion. Done that!

What version of IE are you using? I'm up to IE8 and have np's with it, I also tried Firefox, was not impressed, still have it hanging around, but will take it off soon, no need for it.

Do you get all your updates from MS and keep your PC up to date? chache cleaned,(disk clean up) run spyware, defrag. if needed? and most important run your anti virus (scan entire PC) like you should? if so you should not have these problems, I have np's, I speak only for WXP of course, know nothing about Vista except it's crappy!and I want nothing to do with it.

KG, Palustris had a similar problem and solved it by doing the following

How to delete the specific GardenStew cookie in Firefox (from: http://www.aboutcookies.org/Default.asp ... mozfirefox)

The person that is going to work on my computer runs IE6 and he recommends it. Says 7 has problems that they just passed on to 8. I'm so confused now that 'I don't know whether to scratch my watch or wind my #ss'.

I think I am fixed!! My computer geek friend came yesterday and cleaned house! He uninstalled IE8, then IE7 and loaded IE6. He runs 6 because he said he doesn't have the problems with it crashing all the time. We will see. I also have Firefox which I like. It is much faster than IE.

Then today, my phone line crashed! Got that fixed, so I think I am good to go!

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions. :stew1:

I would wholeheartedly recommend switching to Firefox, or maybe Google Chrome. I'm using Garden Stew in Firefox right now and have no issues at all :)
