Is this toad in my fern garden hurting or helping anything?

cool pictures, dont ya just love natures creatures!

 

I have to check really close before I try to walk around in my gardens...I have to worry about stepping on them because they blend in so good...I love the tree toads that climb the house...

 

Ha we have no climbers here......
Lots of croaks tho.

 

Every now and then I'll have a Green Tree Frog who likes to sleep in my compost bin. I have no idea how he gets in there cause it has a lid on it.
