Oh mine mine! it is really a pain to have a mouse in the house. Since the filthy neighbour behind my house moved in, we get rats and mouse problem very often. I even thought of installing owl house to invite owls to be the natural extermidator.

After trying lots of different bait, I think I hit the jackpot that never fails to attract these varmints when they give me the slip and get into the house. I do not know whether it is available in your area if not you can try Chinatown. DRIED ANCHOVIES, yes they always work and it is easy to handle. Just get a piece about 2 inches will do. Grill it over a open fire so that it'll smell real good. With a rubber band or twisting wire, just securely attached to the place where the bait is supposed to be on the trap.

    WA-lah!! no more mouse :)

I tried the sticky papers once and when I saw the mouse stuck on it out in the road and all the children saw it, I said no more. As for poisons, I don't use them because reading the containers they mention second kill. Which means if your Dog or cat eats a dead mouse or dying one from it, It can kill them too. I remember when we camped someone put poison out and killed the neighbors dog....I know how I would feel if I found my dog died from that.
