hello :D Followed your link from RG Frank and here I am. I live in Lancashire Uk with my dog sam and lots of koi and goldfish that keep multiplying! :( I have two grown up (Ha!) sons, one of whom is still here no matter what I do. 8)
I retired early and seem to have less time for doing stuff then when I worked (maybe I just got older and lazier) So now I just grow seeds and buy plants and panic over where to fit them all in :?
    *waves to all*

Good Lord! I almost forgot to introduce myself.

I'm Chris. I live in South Carolina - USA (good growing season).

I'm a multimedia developer and a moderator at Ozzu which is how I stumbled into GardenStew.

I enjoy cooking, very much. I also enjoy taking care of my yard, however, I'm not really a gardener so much. I'm very good at buying fresh produce, though. :)

    Useless Info:
    Married - 2 kids - 2 dogs - 1 mortgage - not enough time.

    See you in the threads!

    New Chick Here

    :D Hi Gardenstew!
    I am Delana.
Live in Central Missouri wine country.
Married w/4 kids, too many pets to mention, and a thirst for gardening that keeps growing every day. I am working on establishing a cottage-style garden from a previously wooded area that we have moved to 2 years ago and will be asking many questions.........
I have gardened on and off all of my life, but have just recently become addicted to it.
I have created a few flower beds and a stone walkway so far, and this year looks to be a good one to really get a nice foundation of perinneals going for my yard. All tips and comments are welcome.

Hi HotHouseHen and welcome to the Garden Stew forums :p Nice nickname, how did you decide on that one?

Hopefully we can help quench your thirst for gardening. Don't hesitate to use on the many forums to ask any questions.

    That's why there is a Pets forum :) http://www.gardenstew.com/viewforum.php?f=15

Would be nice to see photos of these ;)

    Welcome again!

    nickname

    How I got the Nick?

Well.........I love to garden and use a unheated greenhouse to wintersow seeds and harden off plants and I love chickens, so HotHouse Hen.
But-my hubby says I'm Hot and I am a housemom/wife all summer long since I am off work for the summer........so Hot HouseHen.......
    Take your pick........
    :D

I'll try to get pics posted of my walkway and my flower beds, though right now they are pretty bare due to winter and just starting out.
