Well hello there Scrobins - what an unusual username. Has it anything to do with our little red-breasted feathered friends by any chance?

You built your own house!!!! Did you rent while you were doing it or live in a caravan on site? I've never had the courage to undertake a project as big as that. Any chance of you posting some picies for us all to drool over?

Welcome to GardenStew and I hope you'll stay around for a loooooong time. :-D

    Good Evening Fellow Gardeners

Just joined and wanted to introduce myself. I am Katina, a freelance writer from central Ohio. I love to garden and am the contributing editor for Little Gardeners, a website for gardening with kids.

I can't wait to learn more about herb gardening as that is one area I haven't really had much luck in. I just haven't gotten around to having much of an herb garden. I mostly have vegetable gardens and I love to build raised beds as the soil around here is not so good.

    Hi everyone,

My name is Anita and this is my first time gardening. I am going to make a flower bed and a veggie garden. I just had the soil tilled today manually so I just have to plant and I am home free.

I am a substitute teacher and I read books including plays, write poems and stories, crafts, puzzles, soduko , and watch movies.

Oh, you like some of the things I like. I'm a volunteer at the local library and work with the kids. I write stories and garden, flowers and vegetables and this year I'm trying herbs. You'd never know DR and I are retired folks. I hope you like it here and stay around. Dooley

I think you maybe paid a little too much but I don't know where you are so I don't know the going rates where you are. Also, I try to do everything myself or trade since we are on a fixed income for the most part.
