    Oh no! I forgot. I was going to have it on Valentine's Day. I'll have to give it a sample tonight when I get home.

    @DonnaS I opened it up and had a sample. Tasted pretty good to me. I talked to my cousin who gave me the recipe. She said it looked good and would be best (more smooth) if it sat for months. I thought it was good. Citrusy. Sweet. Not too thick or syrupy, but thicker than just straight vodka. And it had a little "kick".
    So back it went into the closet until at least the holidays (or if my brothers show up wanting to try).
    Please let me know how your's come out.

    Cheryl, It's party time. Just tried my orange liqueur. OMG it is so good. It wont last another month in this house. We have company coming. Will make it again. Thanks for recipe.

    Now you make me want to try it with oranges!
    I'm going to try to keep mine until the holidays.... but wait... St. Patricks, Easter, July 4th are all holidays.... right? ;)

    Monday was Presidents day , yesterday was Chinese new year and this coming Sunday is George Washington's birthday.

    your pictures are making me hungry...I have never had a kumquat but I would try one for sure. :)
