I'm green with envy of your green thumb. I've never seen courgettes before...they look like a cross between a zucchini and a watermelon! You're right...those leeks could win a prize.
Hiyah KaseyL, Courgettes ARE zuccinis. I normally do not let them get as big as the one in the pic, except when I want one for soup. This one was what I call, "a lurker". He had hidden himself and I did not see him until the day I took the pic.
