As always Sjoerd, you amaze me with your perfectly beautiful garden. Sorry that you dropped the corn seedlings. It is a lot of hard work, but it's such joy when we see and eat the results.
I too have been quite busy with the joy of gardening.

Ordinarily I use a kneeling bench when planting or weeding, but scattering hay is a bending type job.

Perhaps I ought to begin a B&B and instead of letting folks pay, I could just ask them to do work in the lottie....hahaha

It wouldn't work if it were Stewbies that came to visit though, would it-- They get to stay for free, of course.

I would like to see your lottie and accept advice on how to do things as you and your bride. Alas, I probably won't make it that far.
Your idea of letting folks work alongside you as Band B payment sounds perfect but chances they would never leave!

Heh, heh---who in the world would want to do that...really. You know how hard garden work is...and folks go on vacation to relax not to be pressed into service. ;)
You are right, they might indeed not want to leave again. hahaha. Ach wel, I am easy-going.

Sjoerd, I believe that, like myself, you really enjoy the work involved in raising your own food.

Looking good Sjoerd! Sad to hear about Nettie :(
Will you need to further fertilize those Courgettes, or will that compost and manure get them through the year?

Well Netty, I am not sure, fro I have never gardened ob her soil before...but what I will do is feed them comfrey tea from time to time whether they act like they need it or not. That soil is so poor, I can't imagine not feeding them anymore.
