Maranta is going to make a flower

    From what I've observed, the flowers only last 1 day each. The stalk had 3, I think. (I took the flower pic on Tues. A cold kept me from observing it much Wed. & Thurs.) Hard to determine what it's doing closer to the base of the plant... You can see a dried flower just in front of the stalk, and one that's either just closing or opening at the left. I think closing, should know in a few hours.

    Just an update... New flowers keep opening on this stalk, not every day, but most days.

    That has to lift the spirits to have new blooms during the winter. :stew2:
