Thanks Phillip, I have not been back. I heard from old neighbors that it was neglected...sad to hear. I will remember it as it was when I left. I loved the sitting area, always 10 degrees cooler & very private.

DJ...My three favorites were the red maple that my grandfather raised & gave to me as a sapling. The hostas that I now have in my TN garden & some daylilies that my M-I-L gave me for an anniversary gift.

Sjoerd...Thanks for your wonderful compliments. The sitting area was a favorite spot, morning coffee, a place to relax when working in the yard and to sit with a glass of wine at night. Wish I could recreate it in TN but we back onto the golf course & so a minimum of trees.

    Gail,
remember it ALWAYS as it was when you left it,..NEVER go back to see it now that you were told it was neglected,..as then the memory will be blurred with the old beautiful view you remember and the present appearance,..what ever it be!,..i made the mistake of visiting the house i lived in as a child,..in my mind i could always remember it to perfection,..but when i went back it was gone and replaced by Apartments,..though all the huge old trees were still there,..my image is now distorted from what it used to be.
