We're having lamb for our Christmas dinner Yummy :setc_084: as we both find Turkey dry and we don't eat a lot of pork either but Gammon and chips for boxing day.

I don't like turkey either Gail as I find it too dry as well. We're having butter roasted chicken, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, corn on the cob and gravy followed by a strawberry trifle. If we have room for anything else then I've made jam filled, iced biscuits and a lemon cake (with lemon curd filling) plus an array of sweets.

Merry Christmas to all of my Garden Stew family on Christmas Day. Will be having chili for lunch then opening presents with my hubby's family. Then getting together with some couples from our church and have a beef roast with all the trimings.

Merry Christmas to you! We had lunch with some friends today. We had dinner with our son the other night. He was going to his in-laws with his wife and sons today. Our other two sons live too far away so we shared computer time with them. dooley

Butter roasted chicken sounds lovely Eileen I hope it went down well, we enjoyed our lamb dinner and today we had Roasted Gammon, chips and peas and for later strawberry cheese cake as I love those...mind you the size of the gammon was sick it would have fed 6 people half of it went in the bin.

Gail, I really am overly fond of the one I make, but my kids seem to want it

Logan, is that Canadian bacon wrapped around the turkey? My daughter in law wraps her's with regular pork bacon.

Sjoerd, I hope you and your bride enjoyed Christmas.
    Mine was awesome.
