Cayuga, how were your gorgeous mittens received by the oh-so-lucky recipients? I'm betting your mittens were one of the best gifts ever!
Thanks MG. Yes, people really loved them and I had so much fun watching them select their mittens. Some knew right away which pair they wanted, others took forever deciding, trying on almost every pair ( and there were many pairs to choose from...25?). One woman, a dear friend who really has trouble making up her mind, took 1/2 hour! But it was really fun watching her go back and forth between the various mittens, exclaiming over them all. I still have a few friends to offer mittens to. After that, I plan on taking the remaining ones to a program in town that offers ancillary services to people with cancer. It's a wonderful program. Anyone diagnosed with cancer has quite an uphill battle and support really helps psychologically. Thanks for asking MG
