Philip, my wife helps with the things I can´t do on my own, but I do most of it. She mostly looks after the flowers and she does a lot of weeding.
The toad is a pretty tough-looking dude...but the Oxalis corniculata there at the end of his snout, I find an mean adversary. The toad will; at least, eat slugs and insects for you.
Odif all I can say is WOW, love all the pic's of your wonderful looking garden. So far our strawberries only have blossom's. We have them in a bird proof cage as they do way to much damage to the fruit.
All those plants look so cozy in their straw mulch. I know they thank you for all the hard work you do in keeping them happy.
Thanks all. I am even out there in the winter when its nice. The mulch will hopefully slow the weeds and also reduce my carrying water to them. We had 3 weeks with no rain and real warmth, but now we have had 2 days of real rain.
Here are some more pictures of my garden. First Capsicum, yum. All growing well. Another view. Finally the tomato house lots of little green tomatoes and the cucumber is rampant.
