Yes Sjoerd, I was a great fan of Geoff and followed his gardening programmes for years. I was even fortunate enough to meet him once and had my photo taken with him at the Gardener's World Exhibition, a treasured memory :)

Oh you lucky soul....You have met the great man. :setc_089: That's amazing.
I have the DVD's of some of his shows. They are really good and I must say (in my opinion), his style and knowledge seem to be far greater than the fellows doing it these days.
    Now, there's a gardner's gardner. :)

Lovely garden you have, GG. You have a good eye for color and composition. I know you enjoy the "purloined plant" I know I would.

Sisyrinchium is something I will now have to be on the look-out for. I had never seen anything quite like it. You have such a nice variety of plants and textures. Thanks for sharing.

    cool flowers.
i also got some sisyr. seeds and they are up to 30-40 cm tall now... hope they will withstand our cold winters outside. i'd love to have some cool blooms next year, please!
also got a callistemon in a small pot. mine's pretty small yet. but... the waiting is worthwhile cause i like the funny flowers. and they are useful. you can wash bottles with them... HAHAHA!
