More Pretties - Iris, Shrimp Plants, Persian Shield

    This is my first Shrimp Plants Bethie, I love them especially the green. First time for the Persian Shield too. As soon as this nasty weather clears I am going to plant them all.

    I'm sure it would come back for you, Sharon. :D
    It dies to the ground here in zone 8,
    but most years it has come back late in the spring.
    I do take some cuttings every year and grow them in the glasshouse, just in case. ;)
    It is as easy to propogate as Coleus.
    In fact, I grow it very much like I grow Coleus,
    with frequent pruning to promote bushiness, and I don't let it bloom,
    the little purple flowers aren't really much to see, anyway.
    And I grow it in partial shade to keep the color from fading.
