I thought that the southern NZ island had about the same climate that we do, bar the six months long winters of this and last year. The previous 10-12 years we've hardly had any winter to speak of so I guess we're overdue. My husband bought some sweet potatoes the other day, and we boiled them. I really liked them so we'll buy more eventually.
