A little bit of fresh snow here this morning. It's the -13°C that threw me off ! A few days of cold temperatures and then we will (hopefully!) be back to melthing snow :)

Oh good grief Netty! That is too much white stuff. My heart goes out to you. I wish it would melt-away a little faster for you. My weather here isn't optimal, but at least I can make a begin. Perhaps your begin isn't too far away. I have to say that it is interesting to follow your countdown. I think that the whole crew here is pulling for you.
    C'mon now!!!

    Getting closer!

The snow is almost gone, but the ground is still frozen solid. I can see the tips of the Daffodil's starting to come up now!

Did you have snow yesterday? You seem to be getting very close to NO MORE SNOW on the ground!

We did have a bit of snow falling this week, but nothing that 'stuck'. Thank goodness ... I've had enough!

Yeah nothing stuck here either, which was a relief as well. I was surprised because there was a lot of snow falling all day, but the temperature was just a little above freezing which made it melt right away. Oh what a relief!

Is that bird bath granite rather than cement? I ask because ours is cement & I have been afraid to leave it out all winter.

Look what happened to us yesterday. Only a dusting 1-2", but STILL. Sigh. IMG_1245.JPG

I clearly don't have the hang of this new website format. I don't dare try to fix my posting for fear of screwing it up even more!

Oh my goodness CM, that is still so much snow! I guess I shouldn't complain for fear of more snow.
And yes, my birdbath is concrete. The first few years I had it I took it in for the winter. Then I noticed that the birdbaths at work were concrete and have been left out all winter for many, many years without a problem. Some years, if I remember, I will take the top off and lean it up against the stand. I haven't remembered to do that for a few years now :)

Netty--good news for me. I have been schlepping both of ours into the basement every winter!

Wow Cayuga, if yours weigh as much as mine does, schlepping them anywhere is quite a task!
